4th STePS: The Fourth School of Computing Term Project Showcase

The School of Computing Term Project Showcase (STePS) aims to bring together all of the class-based projects and project module in SoC. It's a festive yet serious class showcase, in which students present their class projects in all aspects of computer science and information systems to the respective faculty for review and grading.

Students, faculty, technology entrepreneurs and prospective students will have the opportunity to experience the innovations created by the students. TEN courses (40% more than previous semesters) are participating in the Term Project Showcase this semester. Click on the links to see the project details:

Thanks to all the teams for putting-up a great show! This is the biggest STePS so far spanning three floors of SoC. 4th STePS has hit a new record of 700+ Guests with a Strong presence and support of the Industry. Industry feedbacks are very positive and encouraging!

The event is organised by NUS School of Compuiting with strong support from our Industry and Academia partners. It is estimated that about 600+ guests (students, professors, industry partners) will attaned the 4th STePS.

Past Events

Previous SoC Term Project Showcase events were highly successful with around 600+ guests in 3rd STePS and around 400+ guests in both 2nd STePS and 1st STePS .

Awards and Prizes

Through peer-balloting, students in the participating projects will be able to vote for their favorite projects. We have arranged for about $500 worth prizes to be awarded to best projects as determined by popular and industry votes per class.
